Two years ago I was in labor. Tired, worried, and wishing I had asked for an epidural.

Two years ago after my OB took our first photo, she quietly told us how beautiful our daughter was, and that she had Down syndrome.

Two years ago, I visited the hospital 3 times a day to visit with my beautiful, peaceful, baby. The nurses didn't know what to say besides I am sorry. I was scared, and I wondered if I would ever be able to make it this far...

Two years ago, I brought her home to where she belonged. I closed my eyes and tried to picture what today would look like...

She has become a little girl in the blink of an eye.

Today we celebrate her second birthday with waffles for breakfast, and a day at home.

Next weekend we will party, and we will celebrate and say Thank You for this beautiful little girl...

Our Little Miss Ola.
